DREAM, DARE, DO !!!

DREAM, DARE, DO !!!
If you really wish to make a cut above the rest, safeguard and protect what you dream. Here is how to steel yourself to realize your most cherished dreams.

There are so many people who want to taste success as early as possible. Then there are a few who really desire to get into the best of their shapes instantly. There are also others who wish to get a quick name and fame. And when it comes to their efforts, this is where they fail dramatically. And their dreams seem castles in the air. But the question is if it’s really ‘dream work’ or there are some other ingredients also which make these ‘daydreams’ come true. I believe success is a cocktail of 3 Ds. These 3 Ds are Dreaming, Daring and Doing. Let’s talk about the making of this cocktail at length.

I Have A Dream:
No doubt, dreams are the blueprints of our goals. To paraphrase  A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Dream, Dream Dream. You have to dream before your dreams can come true. Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep. Dreams transform into thoughts and thoughts result in action. "Each and every invention of our modern world has been a dream in the first place. And some ‘beautiful minds’ saw them in their world of imagination. I believe Edison, Graham Bell, Wright brothers and the people of the same league were great dreamers who really believed in the beauty of their dreams. They dared to follow their dreams and hold on tightly to their passions even in the face of tremendous odds. The outside world even alienated them, cornered their ideas, mocked and derided their dreams but our heroes never gave up. History is replete with the names of such believers. It’s true that each journey starts with one single step. And success means going confidently in the direction of your dreams. What if your dream has the same potential? That’s how you live your life you have imagined.

Wright Brothers and the people of the same league were great dreamers who really believed in the beauty of their dreams.
On the flip side, a lot many so called ‘Practical Thinkers' hate such dreamers and they even warn you not to get into this dream-business as if there is a stigma attached to it. They somehow don’t buy into your logic. They think that you are nuts. They talk about grappling with life being practical. And there is no room for dreams in their hard, cold world. Chances are their impressions could have some validity. But one needs to take stand before throwing away their most cherished dreams into a dustbin. The major cons of this ‘dead-serious’ philosophy are that we start doubting our own potential and stop making attempts to grow. No wonder that we remain small, we feel meek and We become shy of our future. We never witness the moments of our peak performance. And when we go through a rough patch, the simple twists and turns of life seem more than enough to unsettle us. No doubt, the signs are loud and clear. These are the sure-fire symptoms of a limp personality. If you really wish to make a cut above the rest, safeguard and protect what you dream.

Daring the Dream:
Agreed, your ‘darling-dream’ is the first point of contact between your ambition and your accomplishment. Then it comes down to face your challenges head on. And the biggest bottleneck you encounter in form of getting rid of all your inhibitions and hesitations in the pursuit of your happiness. Happiness of making your dream come true! And for this all you need to do is to adjust your train of thought, pull up your socks, roll up your sleeves and gather some courage to dare your dream. You might be battling your way up to put your best foot forward. With all confidence, I can genuinely tell you that the most beautiful dreams are sometimes the easiest give-aways. This holds true exclusively to those people who fail to accept the fact that they are quite capable to achieve many things despite difficult conditions and uncertainties. And they keep themselves close to their ‘pity party’. This itself narrows down the choice so much as to make it almost impossible. That’s all summing up of their entire ‘as-usual’ life and they stick to it. Thus most people live and die with their music still unplayed. They never dare to try. Nor do they try to dare. It is not because things are difficult that they do not dare, it is because they do not dare that they are difficult. In these circumstances, what is of utmost importance is the adequate amount of ‘dare’. And here, we usually fall short.
The most successful people who have walked on Planet Earth, have been
the ones who have always retained a ‘whatever it takes’ approach.
Such day-dreamers experience an emotional roller-coaster ride; they get a high, whenever engrossed with their dear dreams and interestingly they feel down for failing to collect enough dare to pursue their best interests. It is also a way of thinking and passion that comes only from a drive within.  Naysayers may still disagree but this act of courage is quite doable. The most successful people who have walked on Planet Earth, have been the ones who have always retained a ‘whatever it takes’ approach and never batted an eyelid through all the turmoils of life. They go farthest because they are generally the ones who are willing to dare. All the more, they cling on to their sky high confidence and cope with hurdles in their way in a far better way. Such are the folks who are never left with regret of a life half lived, when they near the end. In the words of Theodore Roosevelt, “Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”

Just Do It !
Who doesn't want to brighten up his life? While some of us (read: gloomy souls) keep misconceptions and myths about ourselves close to our hearts, crib about persons, places or things, experience extreme agonizing moments of doubt, feel a void deep inside, remain small, end up with a nomadic life and find ourselves a complete misfit in a self-trapped world. On the other hand, there are a few of us (read: gutsy souls), who believe in immediate action and attention, watch out for the brighter side in everything and everyone, enjoy being driven with the fired up desires, get a huge boost in their confidence with every little achievement, try to push their limits, surmount all odds with a tinkle in the eyes and make ourselves the best fit into a beautiful world.

Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, and others make it happen.
So, overall I hope you get a sense of my belief that believing in your dreams is something which really makes a huge difference. Believe in the beauty of your dreams; throw away all crutches of lame excuses, move forward in the direction of your dreams and never look back.  That’s what achievers do and this is what you got to do. There could be lots of tough problems out there. But mind you, no road to success is devoid of challenges. If ‘daring your dream’ is to up your chances of success, ‘doing your dream’ is to make sure about it. Either you sit by the shore and wait for life to happen, or you dive into it and pull out the gem. Remember, life itself is a very solvable thing. And you just need to make it happen. It’s heartening and makes me feel good to quote Michael Jordan here when he says, “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, and others make it happen.”And I strongly recommend you go by these words without a shred of doubt. If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.
