From Classroom Gamification to QS Reimagine Education: Our Journey at School For Life, UPES
The past few years have challenged us in unimaginable ways, pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation. For educators, the pandemic forced a swift transition to virtual teaching, leaving us with a daunting question: How do we keep our students engaged and motivated?
At School For Life, UPES, we found an inspiring solution through the power of gamification. Today, I am thrilled to share our journey and the exciting news that has recently come our way.
As the world grappled with the realities of remote learning, I vividly remember the moment when I decided to implement gamification into our virtual classes. The aim was simple: to make learning more engaging and meaningful for our students.

Today, it brings me immense pride to share the news that School For Life, UPES, has been shortlisted for the Lifelong Learning Award by QS Reimagine Education. This prestigious recognition, earned through our gamified Life Skills course "Living Conversations," is a testament to our dedication and creativity.
Competing against over 1200 submissions from across the globe, evaluated by a panel of more than 600 international experts, our entry has secured a well-deserved spot on the 2023 QS Reimagine Education Awards shortlist. This achievement represents the dedication, hard work, and innovative spirit that our institution embodies.
As I reflect on this incredible journey, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Our experience with gamification has transformed the way we teach and learn. It has shown us that innovation and creativity can thrive even in the face of adversity. It has reminded us that when we dare to reimagine education, we can achieve remarkable results.
