This Bank has gained much popularity as '𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤'​ with "Never Look Down a Customer!"​ approach.

A Bank Without Security Guards

During my journey of GLIK (Global Leaders for Innovation & Knowledge) program, I had an opportunity to visit a Bank in Japan with its seemingly 'strange' policies. On surface, It seemed to be working beyond logic and rationality; however, the more I got to know about its philosophy and culture, the better I understood its success formula.

Can you imagine a Bank,

● That has 𝐧𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬. 

● That has gained much popularity as '𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤' with "Never Look Down a Customer!" approach. 

● That has a mandate for all bank officials to 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐲, always with a smile on their face. 

● That has designed and developed such 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 where customers feel much relaxed and welcomed. No alt text provided for this image 

● That delivers 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬 on various occasions to their customers at their door steps. 

This bank strives to provide 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 to its customers all the time. 

● That organizes '𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐬' every month for its customers. 

●That conducts frequent 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 inside the Bank premises to boost their sales. 

● That encourages employees to have work-life balance, and expects them to leave 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐲 𝟓:𝟏𝟓 𝐩𝐦. 

● That ranks and rewards its employees on the basis of their 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬. 

● That strives to provide 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 to its customers all the time. 

●That has '𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐬-𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩' 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 always open to kids of all age group for any assistance. 

● That has much user-friendly 𝐀𝐓𝐌 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬 to make the users feel good. 

● That believes in '𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲' in place of 'Push Policy' to promote any product or service. 

Well, did I tell you that this bank is in 𝟒𝟑 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝟏,𝟐𝟑𝟕 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, and a deposit balance of approximately 𝟏.𝟓 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐞𝐧.
